About Swinton Football Club

Swinton Football Club was established in 1992. The Former Chairman Tom Holmes and his friend Mike Carroll set up with just one team and they started from a small porta-cabin situated on grass at the side of Springwood Primary School

Over the last 18 years the numbers of teams have continued to grow with more children from the local community wanting to play grassroots football. The club approached Salford Council who now provide a number of pitches at Rabbit Hills Playing Fields Bolton Road and Bolton Road Playing Fields,Duchy.
